Hey Pet Parents & Pet Lovers,
Beau’s getting to the age where he’s starting to develop a layer of plaque and tartar.
We started noticing the plaque developing when he turned two and started to give him dental treats such as Greenies Dental Cat Treats and even the Get Naked Grain Free Puppy Health Dental Chew Sticks. Beau recently decided that he no longer wanted to use the Get Naked Chew Sticks so we knew we had to find another way to get his teeth clean.
Since February is dental month the store that I work with decided to focus on educating pet parents about the benefits of oral hygiene. I started researching ways of cleaning our little tyke’s teeth without using toothpaste (as he really doesn’t like the experience and it stresses him out.) I decided to grab a bottle of Slurp’n Fresh as I had heard it has worked for a number of customers.
Getting Beau to drink Slurp’n Fresh was pretty easy. First, I wanted to see if he would drink it with some Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Boost Mixers Grain-Free Freeze Dried Meal Toppers for Cats and after seeing how quickly he took to it I put it into his Catit Design Fresh and Clear Cat Drinking Fountain two days later.
It has been two weeks of Beau using Slurp’n Fresh and there has been a bit of progress. Beau’s teeth do look the build up has begun to soften and his teeth look cleaner. I’m not a full 100% on this product just yet and will continue to update this article with photos and such to make sure we are actually getting results!
So, this brings me to my question:
What do you do for your cat(s)’ dental hygiene?
