Who Said Plastic Bags Aren’t Fun? (Video)

August 2, 2017 By Johnny Salib 44 Comments

who-said-plastic-bags-arent-fun-video

Hey Pet Parents & Pet Lovers,

I was checking my WhatsApp today for old videos of Beau I could watch and I found this gem. Beau is always trying to make toys out of things he can find around the house (and quite frankly, we’re very supportive of it and try to make him makeshift versions of the things he plays with.) For example, we built Beau a cat hut because we found he likes to hide in/behind things when he pounces.

This is something I never thought Beau would do though… One night, while I was working, I found Beau playing with his tail in a grocery bag.

Now, Beau is usually scared of all bags, so that’s what makes this the weirdest to us… but wait till the end of the video. You’ll be surprised how energetic our kitty is!

So THIS is where you have been hiding! Always wondered where your blog was (because when you leave a comment with us it doesn’t link to your blog)……just signed up to follow you. Was going to say EXACTLY what the Island Cats said….CUT HANDLES OFF OF BAGS………they are a strangle hazard and can kill a cat.

Haha! Beau scooted out of that bag in a hurry! My cats used to love to play in bags. We would scratch the top and sides and they would have a blast trying to catch the mystery noise.

Oh man! We had that problem with Beau for a while. We actually got him to stop eating random things by feeding split meals throughout the day. (He gets fed 3 times now.) But his also stems from Pica.

That looks like a great place to sleep until you realize, you really don’t want to be in the bag. Great video. You all have a super day.

Love the video! I see you already got a warning about handles. I got caught in one once. When I go in a bag, TW snakes a peacock feather under and behind the bag and I try to “catch” it. It’s a lot of fun but leaves the paper bag shredded. If he likes unconventional toys, you can try buying those foam rockets you shoot. I LOVE those and chase them all over the condo.

Bags and boxes purr-vide endless entertainment for us felines…but I cut off handles of those plastic shopping bags. Once Minko got in one and was stuck, and he freaked before I could release him:(

But Pipo has to be kept away from them…he trues to eat them…what a silly dude he is…
