Hey Pet Parents & Pet Lovers,
Another busy week in our home… When will the work end? Probably never! But I made sure to take lots of pictures of our little ones this week since last week I didn’t get a chance to feature all of them.
Beau has been less cuddly with us this week, he’s been spending more time with Kalista sleeping on the chair or couch next to her, which is super sweet, but we do miss him sleeping in bed with us. I guess this is what happens when you have multiple pets, they ditch you for each other! Hopefully soon they will be cuddling up to us in bed.
Gary and I have also been spending a lot more time with each other. I’ve been making sure to take him out of his cage every day for about an hour so he can run around and get some extra exercise. We haven’t been able to get him a new cage just yet, but we may get a little playpen for him since it’s more in our budget.
For now, he’s still as active as he has ever been, and making the most adorable squeaks every so often so we can give him attention.
Never in all my life have I ever thought that I’d be a Chinchilla owner, but Gary has really melted my heart and has made a huge impact on my life. I love the little guy so, so much!
Hello Mr. Gary, are you just standing on that Chinchilla hut looking at Kalista? Yes you are!
We’ve also started to give Gary some popcorn every so often for his teeth. I’ll post an adorable video of him eating the popcorn next week, be excited for some cuteness!
He’s really enjoyed being out of his cage, exploring my desk, climbing all over my stuff…
Although I will admit that he peed on a bunch of my stuff and pooped… Those little guys can’t seem to hold it… They’re mighty poop machines!
But that doesn’t mean I love him any less. He’s become one of my best little buddies!
Kalista is still sleeping in his hut that we removed from his cage. She seems to love it, and I don’t know if I should take it away from her and put it back in yet. Gary’s cage is pretty full, so maybe if Kalista gets bored I’ll put it back in.
