Hey Pet Parents & Pet Lovers,
It can be hard to choose what pet you should adopt, especially if it comes down to finances. It’s good to know what the adoption fees/costs are before adopting a pet, so I thought I’d cover a little bit about how much Betta’s typically cost. A few weeks ago I covered what the most expensive Betta fish went for, so I won’t be covering that, however, if you’re interested I suggest you check out the article here.
Similar to most animals, Bettas cost more dependant on their breed, gender, colour, rarity, and health. The following list is compiled from cheapest to most expensive.
*Note: this list has been compiled using prices from the most popular pet stores in the United States. All prices that appear are in USD and may not be the exact price you will pay, especially if you are from another country.
Female Veiltail Bettas (Commonly White, Blue, Red & Green)Price: $2-3 Commonly longer and rounder than male bettas, the Veiltail have short but colourful fins. These Bettas commonly like living in a sorority. They grow from to 1.5″-2″. |
