It can be hard to find a good fish tank that is suitable for your pets. This is even truer when you’re trying to keep multiple fish in one tank. While you can house multiple Bettas in one large tank, an easier option can be to buy a tank with dividers. So, let’s look at some of the most competitive tanks on the market and see if they’re any good for Bettas!
Aqueon LED MiniBow Aquarium Starter Kits LED Lighting
Aqueon is becoming one of the most popular fishtanks on the market, and who can blame people for loving them, especially because we’re proud owners of an Aqueon tank. They’re durable and come in so many different sizes. The only weird thing is, their larger tanks don’t come with dividers, only the 2.5-gallon tank does. Now, we have Blub in a 2.5-gallon tank, but I don’t think I would have two fish sharing that space, divider or not. 1.25-Gallons is manageable with Bettas, however, it does not provide the suggested amount of space Bettas need, making it hard to be a top pick for me.
Alfie Pet by Petoga Couture – Baird Betta Aquarium Kit with 2 Dividers
This is a tank I would stay away from. While it’s cool that it can house 3 Bettas, I would highly discourage it. The tank is way too small, the dividers are seethrough and will anger the fish. I would consider this fish tank fairly unethical, especially if the Bettas are going to be living there for an extended amount of time.
Penn Plax Deluxe Triple Betta Bow Aquarium
Similar to the tank above, this is a fairly small fish tank that would not provide your Betta with an ideal living environment. Due to the fact that the fact that the dividers are dark, this makes it suitable for multiple fish, however, the size is still an issue. I’m showing you this tank mostly to show you how dark you’re going to want partitions, especially if you want translucent dividers.
Deep Blue Professional ADB11002 Glass Standard 2-Way Tall Betta Aquarium Tank Kit
Unfortunately, this is also a tank that isn’t the most suitable for Betta fish. If you do choose to keep Bettas in a tank like this, you’re going to want to make sure to use some sort of aquarium safe background to cover the divider. Similar to the tanks above, I’m going to recommend you buy a bigger tank.
Aqueon Betta Falls Kit
This is arguably the nices fishtank on this list, however similar to the ones above they are too small. It’s perfect that each of the tanks has a fog to them, making sure your Bettas don’t get angered. You will want to make sure to clean this tank often and thoroughly, especially because if one fish gets sick, they will all become sick (since the water cycles through the whole tank.)
Fin Friends 29 or 55 Gallon Aquarium Divider with Suction Cups
While this isn’t a fish tank, I thought I’d add this great divider to the list. This divider can be used on any 55-Gallon standard tank. (Although they also have dividers for 10-Gallon Tanks and 20-Gallon Tanks.) The fact that it’s made out of a black plastic makes it Betta friendly (you want to make sure that the divider isn’t seethrough so they don’t see each other and try to attack.) This is a definite must-buy for me!
It’s a bit sad that there aren’t any large tanks with dividers, but I’m really glad I found the last product. It’s truly the best thing you can use for your Bettas, especially if you want to make sure they have enough space to grow and play. It’s either that or get a tank that’s big enough to house multiple Bettas without the worry of needing a divider.
