Shelter kitties, Shelter kitties, how cute are you!?

May 31, 2017 By Johnny Salib 27 Comments

I’ve been doing my best to get out to the North Toronto Cat Rescue to take pictures of their kitties. I hope to make posting pictures of shelter kitties a routine thing, so if anyone in the Toronto area has any leads or runs a shelter let me know and I might be able to help you out! Our featured kitties this week are:

Chatelaine

Cheeky & Chalky

Unnamed New Intake

Rascal & Chalky

Hey, no problem! It’s what I enjoy doing. And yes, hopefully this brings them more folks to their doors!

It just hurts my heart that so many animals are abandoned. Thank you for sharing them, I hope they find their forever homes soon.

Thanks for joining the linky party.

Hey Jodi, I find it crazy too. Apparently my area has one of the highest stray/abandoned cat populations in the city as well. I hope they find homes soon too! <3

The world needs more cats in homes, not more cats. So it is truly wonderful to see so many cats being shared across the net and awareness being made to all cat rescues and charities.

Agreed. I’m always telling people to adopt from shelters rather than get from breeders. All of my little ones have been strays or rescues and each one has been such a joy in my life <3

And I just fell in love with all these cats … especially “Unnamed New Intake.” It breaks my heart that so many amazing kitties don’t know the love of a forever home. Thank you for getting their pictures out there! And thank you for linking up to the Showcase!

Awww…so sweet…all of them. Petcretary loves the ‘in-named’…but there is this border crossing thing…even though she does sometimes come to the Toronto area…

Oooh, I actually haven’t traveled with a little one long distance yet. It’s probably pretty complicated. My sister did travel over seas with her little one though!

That is such a good idea to take pictures and put them on here. Then someone might see just the one that they want. I can’t gi to shelters, since I would bring them all home.. And those are great pictures too. Have a great day.

Thanks Margaret! Yeah, I like the idea and… it was so hard not to take any home! I kept texting my partner photos of them asking him if I could bring one home!!

I love going to the shelter to take photos of kitties (if you search my tag cloud it is shooting at the shelter) because it helps show people that shelter kitties are beautiful and it helps me work on my photography skills.

Amen to this! I’m glad there’s another person out there who feels the same. Also! Why not rep the shelter that’s closest to you and try to find them forever homes. Ya know?
