Hey Pet Parents & Pet Lovers,
This week I’ve been fairly sick, so it’s been a little bit harder to get photos of our little cuties since I’ve been spending most of my time in bed. I did get a chance to grab a couple of our adorable little Beau sitting by the window looking at our fantastic view, which also makes me a bit sad to tell you… we’re moving again.
I know it comes as a huge shock, especially because we just got this place, but we’ve found a larger place to move to that will accommodate all of our pets and will be better for us to keep growing as a family. In the meantime, we will be renting out this space and it will always be an option to move back to. I’ll make sure to keep you updated on my personal blog about the move and will upload plenty of pictures just like I did last time.
Our one regret is that we won’t have floor to ceiling windows anymore, but I will say that there is an even more spectacular view for our kitties to look out of. So we might just invest in some kitty shelves if we find one with good enough reviews or you have any to recommend. I hate investing in products that don’t work well, which is why I’m so adamant when it comes to leaving honest reviews on this site. I hope you have been enjoying the weekly reviews I’ve been doing of the products we’ve tried.
Blub is doing much better than he was a few weeks ago. He shows no sign of Popeye, but you can tell he’s been through a bit of trauma since his tail is getting a bit shorter. I’m going to do all that I can to make sure he doesn’t continue getting fin rot or anything more serious, but I will admit that even with the amount of care I give him, there’s just no way to be certain that it’s all going to work out.
He is healthy and happy otherwise. Blowing bubbles like clockwork, I’m just sad to see a few tears in his tail fin. The rest of his fins look fairly healthy though, and there are a bunch of products I’ve tried to make sure everything is A-Okay, they just don’t seem to be working just yet. Will let you know if anything changes and make sure to give you more updates on Blub since he seems to be an under-represented member of our family.
Although we’re not certain how old this guy is since he was shipped to the store and they weren’t even sure how long they had him, but we’ve had him for almost 2 years now. (I know he was at the pet store for maybe 3-months prior.) So he should still be fairly young since Bettas can live for quite a long time.
I’m just happy he is healthy enough to blow a lot of bubbles because that’s all I can ask for. I think I’m going to start to clean his tank twice a week and see if that helps him any more. The next photo is for you who said you didn’t know what Bubble Nests look like. They’re pretty cool to see, and you can guess why they may be shocking to new Betta owners, but they’re always a good sign and they can sure tell whether or not your Betta is healthy & happy!
