Our New Cat is Home! (Cat & Chinchilla Photos)

Pet Parents & Pet Lovers, I can hardly hold my excitement!! Kalista is finally home!

She’s so adorable and cuddled us right from the get go in the car!

She’s been fairly curious, which is a great sign, but is also a massive scardy cat…!

I love her adorable face so much!

The first day, she spent a lot of time hiding under covers (since we didn’t let her hide under the bed)

And who could say no to her hiding, because she looked so adorable under those covers.

She’d peek her little head out every so often just to check on us.

She also did a bit of exploring around the place, although it was pretty minimal.

Gary has been doing fantastic! We’ve been spending lots of time with him!

He’s not a huge fan of being picked up, but once he’s in your hands he’s wanting to be pet all over!

He’s been such a great addition to the family, and I’ve been learning so much about Chinchillas!

He seems like he’s not a huge fan of his pellets so far, but hopefully with some encouragement he will be.

Beau’s been doing great! He’s actually been uber curious about Kalista, and they got along fairly well on the first day she was home!

But we seperated them anyways, just until she gets used to our home.

But Beau, don’t you worry… you’re going to be playing with her lots!
