Hey Pet Parents & Pet Lovers,
You all know how crazy this week has been with my new added courses and trying to figure out a way to make sure our kitties don’t feel like I’m abandoning them, so I made sure to take this weekend off from the computer and posting to make sure I spend a lot of time cuddling them.
You may remember from my last post, our kitties started acting a bit weird, but I can tell you that there haven’t been any problems since that post. I made sure to leave some music on for the kitties every time I left the house to make sure that they didn’t feel alone and it seems to have done the trick.
When I get back home, usually the cats are sleeping together on the couch or sometimes one of them will be waiting by the door for me. The cats haven’t shown any other signs of stress, although Kalista has been taking out some of her boredom on cardboard boxes, so we need to make sure there are more toys out for her (and may look into other passive toys.)
Kalista’s actually changed her attitude this weekend as well. She’s been spending more time with us and has been sitting on our laps when she gets a chance. First, it was only with my hubby, but now she’s doing it with me too. I’ve been waking up with her in my legs and Beau by my head, so I’m happy to announce that months after getting her… it seems like she’s finally even more comfortable with us!
She’s still not a huge fan of being picked up and held, but if she chooses to sit next to you or on you, she’s 100% fine. True Calico, eh?
Otherwise, not too much to report to you.
I don’t know how frequent my posting is going to be going forward, just because these courses are going to take a lot of time out of my day, especially for their prep work. Sorry if It feels like I disappear for a while. I’m going to try to stick to some sort of schedule and I’ll let you know what becomes of it.
Also, thank you to those of you who have been submitting posts on Supawcute! With me taking a break from the computer, I didn’t have a chance to read the submissions this week yet/respond, but I’m going to be doing that right now!
