August was a bit of a slow month for me on Supawcute and I didn’t get as many features/interviews as I had hoped for on the site. But between Beau feeling under the weather and us moving, I will say I got some awesome insight on there! So, who did we feature this month?
WHAT RESCUING A KITTY FOR A SHELTER IS LIKE
This is an interview I’m very, very grateful for. A lot of times we don’t think about the work that goes into rescuing the cats that we adopt from shelters and rescues. Sometimes people take the pets that are available for granted, not realizing the conditions these poor buggers have been in. I have a really big soft spot for rescuing cats off the streets, especially since Beau was a street cat rescue. If you’re interested in seeing what rescuing cats for the Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue is like, I highly recommend this read!
INTERVIEW WITH JACK FROM TROPICAL FISH CARE GUIDES
This month we had our first Fish parent featured on the site! The internet is so swamped with cats and dogs, I sometimes find it difficult to find personal fish blogs or small mammal blogs! They do exist, they’re just a lot less of them! That’s why I’m so happy to have featured Jack and to have met Jack! Check out this interview about his tropical fish as well as pupper!
OUR INTERVIEW WITH RHEA THE 15-YEAR-OLD CAT RESCUE VOLUNTEER!
This interview really inspired me! I got to interview one of the youngest volunteers for our local cat rescue. At 15-Years-Old, Rhea has been fostering and has been helping the Forgotten One’s Cat Rescue with their events! It’s just a testament that you can start volunteering at any age! Check out this interview, you will not regret it!
