SUPAWCUTE Round Up! (May 2018)

Hey Pet Parents & Pet Lovers,

It’s been a very busy month for the Pets Overload household. Some events include working on a number of shows, adopting a new kitty adopting a new Chinchilla. trying to post more regularly on this blog, running supawcute.com and still working, working, working… I’m surprised we made it through May! June is going to be busy, busy for us too… but hopefully, with May’s experience, we will find a way to breathe right through it and get everything done! So… as a little break from writing some serious pieces, let’s look at all the amazing features we had on Supawcute last month!

CRYSTAL AND HER PETS: PAST AND PRESENT

May started off strong with a submission from our dear friend Crystal about the little ones that have roamed her house and still roam her house! Crystal is an amazing friend and blogger who we love to feature, and we were so happy to learn more about her pets, especially because we’ve only known her for a year! Thank you again Crystal for being part of this cool project!

EMERGENCY KITS FOR YOUR PET!

The second submission of the month was from Kallie Milleman, who is a Pet Expert & Media Specialist from a local Animal Welfare Organization in Toronto. She wrote a really important article about the importance of Emergency Kits for little ones since May is actually the month where “Emergency Preparedness Week” takes place. If you don’t have a safety kit in your home, I would suggest reading this post, because it breaks everything down so simply and can be life saving!

PET SHOWCASE #1 – OUR FOLLOWER’S PETS!

For the past year and a half, we’ve been receiving a number of photos of pets via our twitter page and thought… hey why not feature all of these cuties on Supawcute! So we started our first Follower showcase! Each week we’re collecting photos in hopes of promoting as many pet blogs, pet social media pages, etc in hopes of learning more about our followers and making the pet community feel that much closer! Check out this post and you may see some familiar faces 😉

MEET CHEBA AND DYLAN!

It’s amazing when your online world meets your in real life world, and I was so happy that I got to interview one of my best friends for Supawcute! My friend Michelle joined the fun on Supawcute by letting me interview her about her cuties Cheba and Dylan! This interview is packed with a bunch of awesome Pet Care advice as well as adorable photos of her cat and dog! Are you ready for your heart to melt?

PET SHOWCASE #2 – OUR FOLLOWER’S PETS!

Similar to the post above, the second showcase took place! Be ready for some cuties and some even more familiar faces!!

MEET ANDY’S KITTIES: SOX, SHADOW AND SMUDGE!

Our interviews didn’t stop this month! We had a great interview with one of our Twitter follower’s Andy who has 3 adorable kitties: Sox, Shadow & Smudge. Andy shares what it’s like to have a multi-pet household and lets us know what each of his kitties is like when they’re together and alone. I’m so happy to have him on the blog, especially because he’s not a pet owner you would see often (since he doesn’t have a blog), but maybe with some convincing, we can get him on board!

MEET PETS OVERLOAD’S NEW KITTY KALISTA!

I thought I would take a crack and see if I had what it takes to be on Supawcute and shared a little bit about our new kitty Kalista! This month I’ve been focusing too much on “pet care” pieces for Pets Overload and I missed giving you all some updates about what it’s like in our actual house, so I took a little break. If you missed it, I recommend checking it out, since Kalista is an absolute cutie! But I hope to get back to more personal posts on here!

PET SHOWCASE #3 – OUR FOLLOWER’S PETS!

Our month closed off with another pet showcase, featuring a mix of our followers. Supawcute is such fun to curate, especially because I get to see all of these adorable photos weekly! I really hope to see more of you in the showcase, cause we all know you have some cuties running about!

That closes off all of the posts from Supawcute this month. I hope you enjoyed the submissions and interviews! Remember, if you’re interested in an interview, guest post or being part of our showcase you can contact us here. We love featuring you, and we love getting to know you more! So please let us know, and we can’t wait to hear from you <3
